Known for their unbridled,
energetic stage performances and their deep
understanding of pop arrangements and unique live
shows, Paper Lions’ explosive sound meshes indie
vibes with the popular sounds of today.
This emerging Canadian pop-rock
band hails from the unlikely small community of
Belfast, Prince Edward Island and includes brothers
John (lead vocals) and Rob (bass) MacPhee, neighbor
Colin Buchanan (guitar) and group solidifier David
MacDonald (drums.)
In 2007, having toured all across
Canada, they earned the National Touring Group of
the Year award presented by CAPACOA.Upon garnering new maturity and melodies in
2010, the band performed at the Vancouver Olympics,
alongside the likes of Collective Soul and Coheed
and Cambria.
Paper Lions is an uncontained musical force that
takes audiences out of their seats and up on their
feet.
