Few classically trained ensembles could even attempt to
work hip-hop into their mix, but Project is busy breaking
all the rules -- and to critical acclaim. Balancing a sincere
allegiance to their classical roots with elements of world
music, jazz, and hip hop (flutist Greg Patillo’s “beatbox
flute” is truly remarkable), this flute, cello and bass trio
has the classical-fusion world standing on its ear.

Master’s degree musicians with degrees from the
Cleveland Institute of Music and Rice University, Project’s
versatile and accessible programs jump skillfully “out of
