Critics are raving about the Cavatina Duo -- “Brilliant”
(British Flute Society Magazine) Eugenia Molinar on
flute and “Virtuoso” (Soundboard) Denis Azabagic
on guitar have won numerous competitions, from the
Young Musicians of Doelen in 1996 to the prestigious
Encore prize in 2003. Since that time, their commitment
to increase original repertoire for guitar and flute has
beckoned composers from around the world, including
Michael Karmon, Carlos Rivera, and Sergio Assad, to
dedicate new works to the duo.

With a repertoire spanning baroque, classical, and
contemporary periods, as well as original works based
on their native Spanish and Balkans folklore, Cavatina
Duo masters the balance between technical sensibility
and senseless passion.
