CONTACT: Each presenter should
receive a minimum of two telephone contacts
before the arrival of the company. A representative of ARTIST should contact
the local presenter and/or the Venue Tech Director approximately two weeks
prior to the first engagement, the venue Technical Director, no later than two
weeks before the scheduled performance and again approximately 24-48 hours
before the performance date to reconfirm. Please give us the most appropriate
contact to discuss the technical details (lights, stage, facility, etc.)

ARRIVAL TIME: Upon
initial contact, ARTIST to provide the actual arrival time.
STAGE REQUIREMENTS: ARTIST
prefers a proscenium type stage with a minimum of 36’ wide and 24’ deep. A full stage black traveler that covers and
trims the upstage performance area is preferred. This drop will serve as
the backdrop for the show and must be a minimum of 3’ from the upstage wall
leaving a crossover space for the performers unless there is another designated
crossover. A minimum of 6’ wing space
should be available on each side of the stage.
The stage surface should be suitable for dance. Stage should be swept clean and cleared of
all equipment, debris, etc., prior to ARTIST’S arrival.
NOTE:
ARTIST IS WILLING TO WORK WITH
SMALLER STAGE DIMENSIONS. PLEASE
CONTACT LIVE ON STAGE IF DIMENSIONS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER THAN LISTED
ABOVE.

FOR
ENHANCED PRESENTATIONS: If a Grand curtain exists, the curtain
should be “open” as the house is open. Please check with ARTIST or ARTIST’S
Representative before opening the curtain at show time.
AUDIO REQUIREMENTS:
ARTIST will supply a complete
audio system and audio engineer for the performance. No additional audio equipment should be needed. If facility is equipped with “clear com”
communication, there should be headsets at the audio station, one at lighting
board and one in each wing of the stage.
ARTIST stage manager will “call” the show from stage right wing or other
designated area.
If facility is equipped with
a mezzanine, balcony, or has need of a large coverage of the audio spectrum,
the ARTIST may elect to “tie-in” to the existing audio system, if
available. In this scenario, a qualified
audio technician familiar with the system and setup is required.
ARTIST will provide and make
use of 6-8 professional series UHF hand-held wireless microphones. Although no radio interference is expected,
certain situations can cause it (i.e. radio station very close to or even within
the venue’s location, or a major concert next door. Please schedule away from these events to avoid interference.
NOTE: If there is
not a designated audio area for audio console, the ARTIST requests a cafeteria
type
table
in the house.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS: All
electric lines should be on separate 120v, 20a breakers. If all electrical outlets are near the
stage, the ARTIST will provide extension cables and “quad boxes” to plug in
equipment.
PRESENTER to provide:
One
electric line on separate breakers in the house for ARTIST’S audio station
Two
electric lines on separate breakers in stage right wing for audio amplifiers.
Two
electric lines on separate breakers in the stage left wing for lighting
equipment.
Two
electric lines on separate breakers backstage for musical equipment.
LIGHTING
REQUIREMENTS: ARTIST will
not provide any stage lighting. Theatrical lighting is preferred which
should include rigged electric lighting lines, dimmers, and a minimum of 32 par
cans/lekos on a minimum of two separate electric lines to cover entire
stage. Front lighting that carries to
the downstage edge is also necessary. ARTIST
travels with some additional lighting instruments (par cans, mini pars, lekos,
etc). If possible, ARTIST may elect to
“tie-in” these instruments to the existing dimmers for the building. If this is not available, ARTIST will use
it’s own lighting and dimming rack wither backstage or in the house.
NOTE: A stage plot
including lighting focus and hang will be sent closer to the performance
date. If you have not received a plot
2-3 days before performance, please call 615.672.7060 and one will be emailed
or faxed to you.
If venue lighting is
inadequate or absent please contact LIVE ON STAGE at 615.672.7060 or before
any lighting is purchased or leased.
LOCAL CREW REQUIREMENTS: For most concerts a “knowledgeable” venue
contact should be available to open doors (usually the Venue Stage Manager).
The time to have the theatre open should be determined by the ARTIST or
ARTIST’S Representative during the initial contact. ARTIST will provide a stage
manager and an audio engineer who will direct and assist in all needs.

Please
no students below high school age or anyone incapable of lifting heavy
equipment.
PARKING AND LOCAL TRANSPORTATION: ARTIST
requires parking during the entire stay.
ARTIST will travel in mini-vans with 16’-20’ trailers. This parking space will need to be
partitioned off for the entire length of ARTIST’S stay.
ARTIST requires one (1) “runner”
(a vehicle with driver, not a rental car) 2-3 hours prior to show. A
local volunteer can usually accommodate this.
This will only be used for business purposes and may possibly not be
needed at all. This will be verified on
the 1st or 2nd contact by the ARTIST’S manager.
REHEARSAL REQUIREMENTS: Auditorium and concert piano should be available for rehearsal for
approximately four hours on the day of performance. ARTIST or ARTIST’S Representative to contact presenter two weeks
prior to engagement and again no later than 24 hours before ARTIST’S arrival to
schedule rehearsal time, if necessary.
DRESSING ROOM REQUIREMENTS: A minimum
of two (2) large dressing rooms (more would be appreciated), large enough for
5-9 people is required. A “green room”
would be appreciated. Dressing rooms
should be on the same floor with easy access to the stage, furnished with chairs,
tables, mirrors, electrical outlets, clothes rack with adequate hangers, and
wastebasket. The dressing rooms should
have access to a private bathroom (for ARTIST only) with hot and cold running
water, adequately supplied with fresh soap, towels, tissue and paper
towels.
HOSPITALITY: ARTIST
would greatly appreciate bottled water, a couple of diet and regular sodas and
any assortments of small snacks. If possible, a simple meal (sandwich, pasta,
green salads with chicken, etc) at approximately 1-1 ½ hours before show time
would be greatly appreciated. Please verify this with ARTIST on the initial
contact.
NOTE:
There are 17 people
RECEPTIONS: The ARTIST will be happy to attend receptions, however
due to the rigorous tour schedule; sometimes the ARTIST may not be available.
Before attending a reception, the company may also need to complete their
touring duties and equipment load-out. Please clear all receptions in advance
with the representative of the tour upon initial contact. The company will
ALWAYS try to accommodate.
RECORDINGS:
The ARTIST may have merchandise for
sale. If so, ARTIST requests two
six-foot tables for sales of merchandise.
ARTIST requests a volunteer to help with sales of merchandise. Presenter
agrees to allow ARTIST to sell merchandise before the concert, at intermission,
and after the concert, if requested.
